Fixture 1: Atletico Madrid v Tottenham Hotspur

Atletico 2 (Aguero, Forlan)
Totteham 0

Very tight and intense game, first half was very edgy with both teams having very few chances. Best chance fell to pavlyachenko (sorry is misspelled) just before half time which he shot narrowly wide.

Second half ateltico made a tactical change and brought on an extra forward which seemed to work as aguero scored soon after the break and the subsitute forlan added a second. Just before the second aguero missed a one on one and at 1-0 jermaine Jenas also missed a glorious chance to put his team level when he missed a one on one with keeper which coupet saved. Overall good game but and the score does not reflect on how tough a game it was.

monster masch reporting from Vicente Calderon;

cheers
