Who uses cutbacks?

Post  Crazychazza7 on Mon 27 Oct - 12:58

Just wondering who in the league uses cut backs? I've faced 1 person who tried to use it but failed, still beat me though. I dont think its a fun way to win/play a game at all:no:, but each to their own.

So yeah, own up.

Thats alright then, I do the same. If I find myself passing it around a bit and realise I can get a nice pass to a player I'll do it, but I dont blitz down the wings with bloody malouda or anelka (both of whihc are stupidly fast)

Same only use it when I need to, prefer shooting from distance or working the ball all the way to the goal from the back.

I tend to "try" and play passing football. If i'm in a position to cut back then i will normally try and use the same player to cut inside and shoot instead, rather than merely square it for an easy tap in.

But, adding to that...it's still football...anyone catch Berbatov last night! Now that is a cut back and a half. Pure genius.

I still feel a bit guilty when a player passes the ball straight to you from a goal kick. I always shoot because you assume that the same would be done to you. If i'm playing a mate then we just pass it back to the keeper. I wouldn't want to win 1-0 from a goal like that anyway. It's not so bad if you bang it home if you are already 2-0 up because it won't make a blind bit of difference anyway.

As long as the games are fun then i can't see cut backs as a problem. If someone is using cut backs then play your defence deeper and play quicker full backs. It's not like any of us are playing with Port Vale and can't cope with a quick winger.
